ch 13

This chapter really helped me to understand thesis statements better. Before reading ch 13 I understood the thesis statement, but now I am fully capable of using my thesis statement to my greatest ability. During high school I had a thesis sentence in all of my paragraphs, but they were usually dull and not fully developed. Now that I realize a thesis statement can alter your paper completely I always write it to my full ability. Another strategy that I realize is a top priority is paragraph structure. Paragraphs need to flow, and their needs to be a topic sentence. Without a topic sentence the paragraph will typically fall short of perfect. This chapter really changed my perspective on how to create a brilliant paper.
